And, they wore them every single day.In 1913, though, a woman by the name of Caresse Crosby decided enough was enough and tyed to handkerchiefs together with some ribbon, making the first bra.
The new design became widely accepted, giving us the modern day bra with various styles, comfort levels, uses, and colors.
Thank you, Caresse Crosby, for your inspiration and invention. I'm grateful to not be stuck in a corset right this moment.
